IPAMAR SMS Program

Program: appointment reminders and confirmation requests, plus two-way patient customer care from IPAMAR about scheduling, callback requests and clinic administrative questions. No marketing or promotional messages.

How to join: you can sign up in any of these ways, all optional: (1) tick the SMS box at ipamar-care-solutions.replit.app/sms-consent; (2) tick the SMS box on our check-in tablet at the clinic; (3) sign our paper SMS consent form at the front desk (staff record it and the signed form is scanned into your medical record); or (4) text JOIN (or ALTA in Spanish) to (786) 892-8827. Each shows these same terms. Consent is not a condition of receiving care. We do not enroll anyone by phone call. Patients who previously agreed only to appointment reminders keep that narrower choice unless they sign up again in one of these ways.

After you opt in you receive: "IPAMAR: Subscribed to appointment reminders and patient care texts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. STOP to cancel, HELP for help."

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Appointment messages: reply 1 to confirm, 2 to request a cancellation, or 3 to request rescheduling.

Help: reply HELP (or INFO, AYUDA) or call (786) 892-8827. You will receive: "IPAMAR: Appointment reminders and patient care. Text us or call (786) 892-8827. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

Opt out: reply STOP at any time (END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL, BAJA and PARAR also work). Replying CANCEL also opts you out of texts; if you have a pending appointment confirmation, our staff will also call you about cancelling. To cancel an appointment without opting out, reply 2. Opting out stops all automated and staff text messages from (786) 892-8827. You will receive: "IPAMAR: You are unsubscribed and will receive no more texts. Reply START to resubscribe. Help: (786) 892-8827." If you reply BAJA or PARAR, you will receive the same confirmation in Spanish: "IPAMAR: No recibira mas mensajes. Responda ALTA para volver a suscribirse. Ayuda: (786) 892-8827." Reply START to resubscribe.

SMS is not monitored for emergencies; call 911. Please do not send sensitive medical information by text.
